Your Quest

The Null is erasing numbers from the eight realms. As the last apprentice of the Arithmancy Order, recover all eight Numeral Shards to reforge the Prime Sigil and seal it away.

One World, Eight Realms

The realms lie side by side across a single map you walk end to end — meadow, forest, cavern, peak, isle, swamp, volcano, citadel. Each realm covers one grade of maths, and a gate in the Null's wall opens onward only when you have claimed the shard behind you.

Realms, Levels & Topics

A creature roams for every category level in a realm — Number sense, Multiplication, Geometry and so on. Each level holds several subtopics (Multiplication covers arrays, times tables, square numbers…), and every subtopic has its own authored questions with explanations.

Exploring

Move with the Arrow keys or WASD. Walk into a creature to start its battle. Standing on a fountain restores your health, and health carries between battles — so the fountains matter.

Battling

Each battle is a wave of creatures led by a bigger one. Pick your attack spell, press Cast, and answer the question — the subtopic is named above it. A correct answer sends your spell at the front creature; a wrong answer, or running out of time, shows a short explanation and lets it strike you. The wave's health equals the number of questions, so clearing a level means answering every one.

Mana & Spells

Every spell has a mana cost (✦) and a power (⚔). Mana refills a little each turn, so cheap spells can be cast every turn while the powerful ones — which hit harder or splash across several enemies — must be saved up for.

Rewards & Growing Stronger

Clearing a level earns ✦ stars. Spend them in the Spellbook tab to upgrade spells. Clear every level in a realm and its Cipher Lord rises at the shrine for a grand review — beat it to win the Shard, learn a new spell, open the next gate, and rise through Apprentice → Adept → Mage → Archmage → Grand Arithmancer.

Trade Quests

Villagers stand around each realm's fountain, and one of them always wants what you are carrying. Walk up to a villager with a ❗ over their head, answer a couple of questions, and they trade you the next item in the chain. Follow it to the end and the last keeper hands over the grand reward. Whatever you are holding shows in the tray under your portrait.

Tips

Questions loop if you miss some, so accuracy clears a level faster. Bloomburst and Astral Nova heal you when they hit. Press 1–4 to answer from the keyboard.
